About Us

The Simplex Golf Society was established in 1999 to promote the game of golf across the Wirral and wider Merseyside community. Our goal is to provide members with the best possible golfing experience at high-quality, great value courses.

Each year, the Society typically hosts six to seven competitions, making use of local golf courses and partnering with nearby businesses—helping to support and contribute to the local economy. Our members take pride in respecting the environment, ensuring courses are well cared for and local wildlife is protected.

At the heart of the Society is friendship and camaraderie. Every competition concludes with a prize-giving ceremony, where members can share the highs and lows of the day’s round over refreshments. We also value our members’ feedback and continually seek to improve the Society based on their ideas and suggestions.

The Annual membership fee for Golf Season 2026 is £30.00.
